Lunch with David Badger
I had lunch with David Badger at Canal Cafe, Iidabashi yesterday. I had never been there before. The setting is great, right on the Sumida river in the middle of Tokyo. The food was decent too. We sat outside and I got sunburnt. I now have a red forehead (or 'spam' as we used to say in England when I was a kid.)
David is a retired executive from Mars who I met at Temple University Japan last year. The last time we met was in Virginia last May. He's a very interesting chap, and we talked about business school, ethics in business, my wedding last year, his upcoming trip to Europe, marketing, and of course, the upcoming war. It was a very interesting discussion.
