Goodbye to a Dear Friend

My friend Paul Adamson passed away in his sleep on Sunday night. He was 28 years old.
He was a great guy, and I wish I had one last chance to tell him so.
Ads, I'm sure that there is a football pitch wherever you are.

Rest in Peace.

Let me add my goodbye as well. I received an e-mail from Yatesy today about Paul's passing. It rocked me. I put up a brief post on my site as well.

I can't believe it.

Paul will be missed.

I have to say that I am still really shocked by this awful news.
My heart goes out to all his family.
He will really be missed, in Japan and the UK.

Gary,

I commented back on my site about the picture (http://williambragg.com/wordpress/index.php?p=248). I think I got it from the old saitama jets site. Take it, and use it. Gonna try and get something in the mail to his family soon. Talk soon. tragic...

That's really sad news. Can you provide us with some details? Was Paul ill prior to this? Its quite shocking.

Mike, it was related to his diabetes, which he had battled with for a long time. He died peacefully in his sleep.

What a shock to hear that Paul has passed away at such a young age. My heart goes out to everyone who is grieving at this sad sad time. Paul was a wonderful guy and I will never forget him.

You made your mark in the Metropolis League and you will be missed in the seasons to come. Those who've played with and against you will miss you on and off the pitch. Lets hope you are now in a place where all the pitches are green and lush.

Just found out about Paul dying. I knew him at primary school in the UK. He was great on the footy pitch when I knew him, and a really nice lad. Will be sorely missed by everyone I'm sure.
