I Had A Dream...

...last night that Rosie was drinking mugicha (barley tea), sitting in her buggy at home. This was a much more positive dream than some of the other dreams/nightmares Megumi and I have been having recently.

I am not a religious man, nor even particularly spiritual. But I have prayed more in the past 2 weeks than ever before in my life. I think my dream is a good sign.

UPDATE

I couldn't find a picture of Rosie drinking mugicha, so here is one of her chewing on a duck.

Her lung condition is slightly better today - hoping and praying for another small improvement tomorrow. She doesn't have pneumonia actually - turns out it's something else, just as scary, called ARDS (look it up if you want).

I think that dream is good too. I'm still sending those good vibes; please keep us updated on Rosie's condition when you can!

Gary, I started dropping by your site because I'm interested in Japan, but now I find myself doing so because I've started to care very much about what happens to one little girl, on the other side of the globe.

Little ones are often much stronger than we expect and there are a few more 'good vibes' being sent to Rosie (and to you and Megumi too) from the UK now.

Warm Wishes
Sheryl

I looked up ARDS. The part about how contagious it is got me upset, because apparently it is passed on through coughing, sneezing, and contaminated objects. The thought that Rosie got infected at the hospital makes me very angry. But enough of that kind of negative feelings; it does not help. All my prayers go out to you. I have a good feeling that she will come out of this well and healed.

Dear Gary,
You've got some good vibes coming from Ohio too. I'm hoping for the best for you and your family.
Love,
