I am sorry, you don't know us. I was just looking at other cross-cultural couple web pages to build our own when we saw your page and it touched us. Sometimes there is nothing we can do to control events in our lives. I am sure Rosie was a blessing to you and was really happy while she was with the 2 of you. Whether we know someone for a long time or a short time, that is what really matters.
We also lost 3 children to miscarriages before having our 3 little children. The fellowship and prayer of our friends was invaluable during that time. Not the same as losing a precious baby, but it was not a happy experience. We know they are with the Lord.
