Hi Gary,
This is really really late, but I haven't been keeping up very well. I just found out about Rosie's passing and I wanted to express my condolences for your loss and my admiration at your and Megumi's strength. I can't imaginine going through what you have. I've just read through all the posts from when Rosie got ill until now, and my eyes were not dry very often throughout. Your story has inspired me to appreciate what I have and strive to move toward what I think I am meant to do in this life. Thank you for that, and the best of wishes to you and Megumi for the future.
If you ang Megumi are ever out around Kamakura some weekend or something we should get together for dinner. It would be great to get a chance to talk to you again, and I'm sure that Tomoko would love to meet Megumi.

The days will get brighter as you move them along. The memories grow sweeter, and the pain lessens.
Good luck, it will come fine, you're strong...Ever-so. Your last post proves it....
Some would have fallen where you suggest innate strength. Its easy to think that "life in general" is the hardest thing in the world....Good luck th you both.
