Ha ha ha. Lots of people who know me read the site, and, having never heard the word blog, think it is just something that I made up, or that is just used in Tokyo or something. Well, obviously, that's not the case, and to prove it, the American dictionary Merriam-Webster has declared that "blog" is the word ofthe year for 2004. Yeah, wooh, go bloggers!! (not sure if you can smell the irony of my tongue firmly in my cheek. Bizarre mixed metaphor that...)
Anyway, here's the site (link) for reference, and here is a history of blogs (link), courtesy of the wonderful Wikipedia.
(seen on Joi Ito's Web)
Pathetic. I am glad I am no longer reading Ito for that matter. I just had a glimpse and read "Ukrainian freedom blog" or something similar...

From a fan of your site, I'd appreciate being able to get in touch with you man-o-man.
In a few ways we are the opposite of yourself and Megumi: English-Japanese married couple living in Blighty. Asaka has now lived in the UK for the past 8 years, 3 when she was a child and this becomes well over 3 quarters of her life so far......This cannot continue forever, and, while it is at least 3 years before we move to Japan: We will certainly be doing so.
I've visited a few times now. Tokyo of course, where she is from, but Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, and all around Shikoku too. 6 times in all....You may have guessed the benefits of a Japan Rail Pass are not lost on me!
So, the decision that has to be made eventually, will not be taken lightly.

I am a Barnet man, not West Ham, but can I ask you for assistance old chap? Just would like some honest answers and assistance! Good luck with your MA!
Hope you are well,
J
