Keeping Busy

I've been playing a bit of football to keep my mind off the impending arrival of Baby G. This is at training the other day.

I collided with a Chinese goalkeeper last week, and he whacked his head really badly on concrete. A very scary moment, as he had to be whisked away in an ambulance. Thankfully, he was fine, and was released from hospital that day.

I had never seen you playing football before. So this pucture impressed me a lot! (You know, my image of you was mainly an English teacher smiling and wearing a Disney tie...^^)
I am glad to hear that the Chinese guy was fine. I bet it was scary moment for both of you. Actually I got a first ambulance ride in my life three weeks ago when I got a bike-car accident. (I was on the bike and I did a face-plant.) It was my scary moment when a doctor told me that I have a broken neck! Fotunately, the neck will heal and I don't have any other problems with my nerve system. I am SO happy to be still alive!

Got run over by an African guy once while player soccer. I was ok and he was an ace about it. Soccer players do what world leaders can't, keep peace.

I've not read Your blog for quite some time... happened to come back through and discovered everything I'd missed... You and Your wife are strong, strong people. I was unashamedly close to tears through a good portion of it. I wish You the best in Your future and Your site is really, really great.
