Turn Up For The Books

As many of you know, I am studying for an MBA with Warwick Business School. I went through the pain of exams in December, and was fortunate enough to pass all 5 modules. WBS released some stats about the exam results the other day.
Marketing Analysis: My mark was 74%
Marketing Analysis: Top mark was 74%
...hang on, that means I got the top grade/joint top grade.
227 people sat the exam, so to be one of those with the top marks was a bit of a shock. Blimey, as they say!

You belong to Oxford, not Warwick!

Congratulations - talent and hard work got you where you belong. Now make sure you hang in there till the end, to avoid the dreaded penalty shootout... err I'm getting carried away a bit.

Gary, when you say "Blimey! '...as they say'" who exactly are the "they" here??? You're bloody English, man! No one says that except you lot!!!

Hi Gary,

I'm considering Distance Learning at Warwick. I do not have a Business or Marketing or Finance backgroud, but instead a science one. Do you think is going to be very tough, as I also need to work full-time as well. How about organising for exams, do you need to organise it by youself? Or will Warwick look after you to do exams while you are outside of the UK?

Kate,
Well, yes it will be hard. My background is arts (history and lit), so some of the stats and accounting have been tough. But, in my experience, rewarding. For tips, check out the wbs website and listen to some of the podcasts from students. Warwick arranges exams, depending on where you are. In Tokyo, they arrange exams at the British Council.
Cheers
