Well, here's some news for you. We learned a few weeks ago that Megumi is pregnant, due at the end of December. We were delighted, as you can imagine. We then learned that she is going to have TWINS! That was a shock, to say the least!!!
I went with her today to see the ultrasound and there are, indeed, two little blobs in there! It looks a bit cramped in there, but the two little blobs seemed happy enough.
In a few months, our family will grow exponentially. Where will we all sleep...?
Posted by Gary at June 9, 2006 12:21 AMHoly Sh*t!
congrats!
Jeani & I were kidding that maybe the ultrasound didn't see a possible second child because she's feeling so big. (due date: July 13th).
But you're really gonna experience it. Wow. Twins in Japan. Wow. 5 of ya! Wow.
Posted by: Will at June 9, 2006 09:13 AMI am so happy to hear your news. I stumbled across your blog recently and was so surprised to see the photos of your beautiful little girl, Angelie. She looks so much like my baby boy, who is mixed race British Filipino. I think it's that cute and cheeky smile! I read your back posts and was so sad to hear of the loss of your first daughter. My son died at birth but was able to be resucitated. Initially we believed he would have serious health problems but he is doing great, 6 months on. You said Angelie has the strength of two girls and that is the way I feel about this boy now, it is such a relief. Now I appreciate life in a new way and give thanks for the smallest blessing. How lovely to hear you will be having twins, that made me think: "There is a God!"
Posted by: Helen at June 9, 2006 04:35 PMSweet Lord!!! Haven't checked your blog in a while but can see you have been busy...recommend purchasing another pair of arms as the recent experience of our 2 crazy toots has been keeping me so busy I can just imagine how mad your house will be. Fantastic, beautiful, crazy news - Garner, are you up for taking over Japan??? Angelie by the way is a total darling, a real wee love. Away off to chuckle about your news and tell K, he'll be delighted..
Big big kisses to you, M, A and the two blobs!

omedeto gozaimasu X2! Good for you, tackling that Japanese population decline problem all on your own. The people at Boo Homes are going to be so very excited to hear this news as well.

I have followed this blog for over a year now.
Many congratulations on the expected twins. I'll bet it was a shock. Are twins rare for Japan?
I look forward to seeing the pictures when they arrive.
