Not sure how I came across this site but saw a picture of sweet Rosie - she reminded me of my grandson whom I don't get to see often enough. I am so glad oyou have gone on to have more children and so sorry for your suffering and loss.

Perhaps some day you and Megumi will write a book about our experience so that parents are able to stay with and near their sick children. Two of my children had serious health problems. I can't imagine the hospital telling me to come at certain times.
I stayed at the hospital when the were there and left only to get a shower or meal. It seems very different in Japan.
