Josh and Angelie
Angelie likes to feel the warmth and closeness of a body when she sleeps. She'll sleep quite happily when you hold her, but wail and scream as soon as you put her down. Crafty use of Josh sometimes fools her!

Out Visiting!
We all went out on Sunday, and visited Quinlan and Rieko's house. This was the first time we had met, although I have looked at Quinlan's homepage many times! Kurt and Dirk and their families were there as well.

Omiyamairi (Christening?)
Omiyamairi is when you take a baby to the shrine for the first time. The priest gives your new-born a blessing. We went a few weeks ago, with Megumi's parents.

Megumi likes kimono, so wore one, and Angelie had a special dress, given to us by Grandma Araki. It was a hot and sticky day, but a nice experience.

Angelie Updates
She's doing fine. She seems very happy and healthy, and Megumi and I are having a lot of fun with her. The two of them have just started getting out and about, and she seems to like the sling much better than the buggy!
