Rosie's 2nd Birthday

Tomorrow would have been Rosie's 2nd birthday. I often think about her, and wonder what she would have looked like, how she would have talked...

The events of the last year or so have been extremely difficult and painful for me and Megumi, and for our families. We have had many hard days...
But I would prefer to be thankful for the joy we have, rather than think about what might have been. We were given 8 precious months with Rosie, and we loved her very much. I think I can safely say that she loved us very much too.

We were then given another precious gift, a little ball of smiles and fun we decided to call Angelie. She inherited her sister's smile, and seems to have the power and strength of two babies. We'll do our best to take care of her, and when she is old enough, we'll tell her all about her big sister.

Rosie, darling, we'll never forget you.

Mummy and Angelie

They have gone to Shikoku to spend some time with Megumi's family.

I'm missing them already!

I have also FINALLY got around to putting a few pictures of Angelie together on a gallery. So here it is:

British AND Japanese

Angelie's Japanese passport arrived last week, so she now has dual-nationality.

She has already started nibbling on the corners. I wonder if the passports will last 5 years...?
