Back in Japan

I was away for a few days, studying in England. That's not an excuse for a lack of posts, since I was slack before that! Actually, it is getting increasingly difficult to balance family responsibilities and studying and work. Ho hum...

Anyway, on the family front, all is fine. Megumi is huge! I am not sure how much bigger she will get, but she still has a few more weeks before the twins are born. Angelie is fine and dandy, getting brighter by the day. At bedtime, she now stands by the gate at the bottom of the stairs and says 'UP'. She also sits in her chair, grabs here bib and says 'MAMA', which means food. She certainly knows how to get what she wants.
Oh, one more...she can say 'baby'. Megumi shows off her ever-growing stomach, and has obviously taught her that there is a baby (let's not worry about plurals right now) inside. If you ask Angelie where a baby is, she lifts up her own shirt and pats her belly! Worryingly, she also pointed to my gut yesterday at bathtime and said 'BABY'...

Work is just, er work. The less said the better. The only thing worthy of note is that HR want me to become a 'qualified' project management instructor. They have been trying to figure out how to do training in English for foreign employees, and after I took a training session last month, they have decided that I am the man to conduct training in English. Should be interesting...

Studying is, as I said, tough at the moment. The beauty of the Warwick September Seminar is that it gives me a chance to focus only on the MBA for a few days. Unfortunately, the quality of the teaching was not as good this year as it was last year, so there were a few grumblings about wasted lessons. In general, though, it's good to see everyone again, and meet new people, as well as talking to professors and lecturers face to face.
I now have to concentrate on two final assessed essays for October, and exams in December. Twin babies will arrive some time in between and turn our world upside down as well!

So, that's a quick update. Hopefully, I will write again soon!!!

More Modelling Pics

My beautiful wife and our superstar daughter ( we get about $20 per shoot, including travelling expenses, so the superstar tag is a joke. Just in case...)

I have added most of the older modelling pictures to Angelie's Gallery. That's almost all of them. There are one or two that I can't scan properly.

September Seminar

Sorry again for the lack of updates. I am busy at work, and have been trying to catch up with my studying. I have to go to Warwick soon for the September Seminar, and I am way behind with my reading. The last few weeks have been a frantic attempt to get some essays handed in and try to get myself up to speed. I have been rushing the essays, so getting some fairly uninspiring marks, but the feedback from tutors is definitely useful.

I went to Okinawa on business as well. Nice place, good food, lovely clean water. Maybe we can take the whole family down there for a holiday some time...
