This is a large gorge in Tokushima called oboke.
These are semi-professional awaodori dancers.

Dancing in the streets. The lady on the right is quite a famous actress/celebrity (whose name Megumi didn't know!)
The lady in yellow is the leader of the Ebisu dancing group. That's them dancing in the second picture, then Megumi and I putting what we learnt to the test!
Megumi and her mother show off their yukata (summer kimono), Megumi's parents eat traditional udon(noodles) from Tokushima, and relaxing by the river in Tokushima city.
